North Olmsted Homecoming Festival parade and performance info

First & for most, we apologize for this info taking so long to get to you. We have just now received it.
The North Olmsted Homecoming Festival Parade & Performance is THIS SUNDAY, AUGUST 28TH!
Everyone (students and families) are invited to walk in the parade! We have plenty of candy to throw and flyers to pass out!
We have copied and pasted the info sent to us from the Festival committee. We will meet at North Olmsted High School 12:00-12:30pm. Please wear your studio t-shirts. If you do not have one, dance related or solid t-shirts. The parade concludes at North Olmsted Park (Lorain & Makenzie).
The studios performance/demonstration is scheduled for 3:30 pm. Just enough time to cool down from the parade route, eat a corn dog and cheer on the Eaglets! We will be performing back by the gazebo (where the marching band is playing). It is the official National Dance Day routine from 'So You Think You Can Dance'. It is not technically difficult. Again, we invite all students (all ages, all levels, all types) to come and dance!
Please let us know if you are planning on attending the events. It will be a GREAT way to kick off the new school year and show community pride! If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us.

August Studio News

Hello everyone -

Hard to believe, but back to school is just around the corner! With that being said, dance classes begin Sept. 6th! We want to be sure you get into the classes you want - classes are filling up fast! Mail in your registration today. The studio will also be hosting 2 Open Houses: Aug. 18th and 25th 5:00-7:00pm. Remember - it is a RECITAL YEAR (recital date is June 17, 2017)!!!

We also want to remind everyone that the studio will be marching and performing in the North Olmsted Homecoming parade and festival on August 28th. Everyone (and families) are welcome! Step-off for parade is 1:00pm (meeting at NOHS) and our performance/demonstration is 3:30pm at North Olmsted Park. Students will be demonstrating the National Dance Day routine (it is not technically difficult and can be learned quickly). We need as many students as possible for this event - all ages, all level, all dance styles. Please let us know if you plan on attending. We can also email you the routine to learn ahead of time.

Lastly, the studio is looking to hire a new staff member. If you have not heard the good news, Nicci is excepting! She and her husband are ecstatic about the arrival of their little girl late December. As Nicci plans to teach til she pops, we will be needing a sub for her maternity leave. If you know of anyone, please have them submit a resume to the studio asap!

To our current studio families: Share a post about the studio on Facebook (and why you love taking here) and your name will be entered into a drawing for $25.00 off first months tuition! Winner will be picked Aug. 27th. Make sure to tag the studio so we know to enter you.

Our email was hacked earlier this month and all our email addresses were lost - we are slowly starting to get it back together. Please feel free to contact us through the website or Facebook. If you have ANY questions about classes or the upcoming school year (so many fun and exciting things planned), so not hesitate to contact us. Enjoy what is left of summer and see you Sept. 6th!

National Dance Day

This Tuesday 7/26 is our final National Dance Day routine rehearsal. We will also be recording our video submission this same night. If you haven't attended any of the rehearsals and still want to participate, COME TO THE STUDIO THIS TUESDAY NIGHT! the routine is not technically difficult. We will also be using the routine for several performance opportunities.

We still need a few more students for the Wednesday 7/27 Olmsted Falls Library Story Hour. This will run one hour (2-3:00pm). We will perform and demonstrate the NDD routine to children. If you are in need of volunteer hours, we will be more then happy to fill out the paperwork that goes along with it. Please let Nicci know asap if you are interested in this event.

We have finalized out North Olmsted Homecoming Festival performance/demonstration: Sunday, August 28th 3:30pm.

Again, we will be performing and demonstrating the NDD routine. This performance time works out perfectly with the NO Homecoming Festival parade that the studio is marching in as it is the same day! Parade line-up starts at 12:00pm (North Olmsted High School). We march to the North Olmsted Park and have a chance to refuel (perhaps with a corn dog) and cheer on our fellow ADC&TC students who are on the NO Eaglet Teams. We will perform/demonstrate directly after the NOHS Band and Eaglets. THE MORE PERFORMERS THE BETTER - ALL AGES, ALL LEVELS, ALL STYLES.  If you are not able to attend the NDD rehearsal this Tuesday, we will email the video submission to everyone so they can learn the routine for this event. This is a GREAT community event and a wonderful way to kick off our new studio school year.  Again, please let Nicci know asap if you are planning to participate in this or any of the performance events.

Attire for al these events is solid black dance pants and studio t-shirts. If you do not have a studio t-shirt, any solid color shirt will work (no logs, bling, etc).

We are working on one more performance opportunity with the NDD routine. We will keep you posted.

With all this prepping, we have to say, HAPPY NATIONAL DANCE DAY!!!!!!
